There's beats, guitars, solo strings, multiple choirs with lyric application, various orchestral and band libraries, it's fuckin huge. Its a monthly plan, currently 20 bux, that gives you an enormous library that should keep you going for a good while as you learn. I would take a look at composer cloud by EastWest. Many of the orchestral big hitters have or are moving away from kontakt to an extent, so there's plenty options Kontakt hosts many to bypass that somewhat, but it is also not cheap to buy that alone with the further cost of the libraries on top. And they all have their own features in their own players much of the time. Scoring libraries are not cheap at the top end, great though they are. They've got deals at the moment as just about everybody does. I'm also going to buy a piano I can connect to the software.Īssuming you don't have a daw, then for film scoring, Cubase will do a job. ![]() To be honest, I have a hard time to decide what to buy, and I'm quite sure there are software out there that I don't know about. ![]() Other options I've been considering is Spitfire: Albion One and Cubase PRO. I want something that sounds good, but not too difficult to learn. ![]() I feel the sound quality is somewhat poor on some of the instruments - maybe it's just me? I play piano and sing, but my experience with music software is zero.ĭo you know if there exist a package, or something I can combine (for this budget) that includes orchestra, piano, brass and choir? I was hoping I could afford it this week, since there are a bit of sale going on. I've been looking on the orchestral software from UVI. My budget is in the area 500-800$ - I'm willing to go outside budget if I'm close to a good deal. ![]() And I was wondering if you could provide suggestions for a suitable option for me? I'm looking to buy a music software to create music, and there is A LOT of options out there.
